Threads has won several awards for it's contribution to mental health.

Threads received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Mental Health at the Proud 2005 Awards held at the Magna Centre on the 10th March 2005. The awards recognises the excellence of Health & Social Care Services across South Yorkshire.
Threads was awarded the NIMHE (National Institute for Mental Health in England) Positive Practice Award 2006 from Sally Prescott, the Head of Development for NIMHE Northeast, Humberside & Yorkshire.
NIMHE is an organisation that aims to 'help all those involved in mental health to implement positive change, providing a gateway to learning and development, offering new opportunities to share experiences and one place to find information.'
